Jesus I Trust In You

A simple and bold design, this Jesus, I Trust in You tee proclaims the heart of the Divine Mercy message — a call from Christ Himself to trust completely in His mercy and love.

In the early 1930s, Jesus appeared to St. Faustina Kowalska, a humble Polish nun, and revealed to her His desire that the world come to know His infinite mercy. He appeared clothed in white, His right hand raised in blessing, and from His heart flowed two great rays of light — one red, one pale — representing the blood and water that poured forth from His side on the Cross.

He said to her:

“The pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls. These two rays issued forth from the depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross.”

Jesus asked that the image be painted with the words “Jesus, I trust in You.” He promised that souls who venerate this image would not perish and that His mercy would pour out upon those who turn to Him with faith. Through St. Faustina, the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Feast of Divine Mercy were given to the Church — a reminder that His love is greater than any sin, and His mercy knows no limit.
