Saint Paul Tee
This Saint's story speaks to the reality that being Christian is not about being right all of the time, even being right about our own beliefs. It's so easy to get caught up in debates and arguments, to "stone" our religious opponents with the ideas we believe are correct. But this is not what we are called to do as Christians. Christ called Paul to be close to Him. To die to whatever selfish desire Saul had, especially his self righteousness, and let Christ's Eternal Life actually live through him.
This was the miracle of Saint Paul. The sword he carried broke apart, and in that breaking, Christ began to live in his heart instead of Saul. Filled with God's grace and mercy, Paul was finally free of his chains and he was able to live free from the hatred and anger he suffered.
This story of Paul is our story too. It is in dying to our "selves" that we are set free by Christ. Allow Christ to free you from your chains, and let Him rebuild you with foundations being set firmly in Him. Repent of your sins, do penance, and let Christ live through you too.
