One side depicts Jesus revealing His Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque at Paray-le-Monial, where He invited the world to discover the depth of His burning love and mercy. The words beneath the scene form a simple prayer: “Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.” Devotion to the Sacred Heart honors the real Heart of Christ as the living sign of His divine and human love for us.
