For centuries, Catholics have prayed the Salve Regina, one of the Church’s most beloved Marian prayers. Sung at the close of Compline and prayed at the end of the Rosary, its words turn to Mary as Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. This design pairs the ancient Latin title Salve Regina with a crown, honoring Mary as Queen of Heaven and Mother of the Church.
The prayer is beautiful because it comes from the middle of real life.
